School Administrator / Admin Assistant – Secondary Schools

Join secondary schools across Leeds and Wakefield, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school office. You’ll work alongside experienced administrative and pastoral teams, helping staff, students, parents and visitors while gaining valuable experience within a secondary school environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide general administrative support to the school’s office and wider staff team.
  • Answer telephone calls, respond to enquiries and welcome visitors to the school.
  • Maintain accurate records, databases and student information.
  • Assist with attendance, admissions, communication and general school administration.
  • Communicate professionally with students, parents, staff and external visitors.
  • Help ensure the school office operates efficiently and provides a welcoming service.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Organised, reliable and approachable individuals who enjoy working in a busy environment.
  • Experienced administrators, receptionists, customer service professionals or graduates looking to develop their career.
  • Strong communicators who are confident dealing with a wide range of people.
  • Good attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Previous experience within a school environment is beneficial but not essential.

What this role offers:

  • Pay: £107.71 – £137.71 per day
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
  • Valuable experience working within a secondary school environment.
