Job description

The staff and children of Hertford Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing adult to join our lunchtime team between the hours of 11.45am and 1.15pm.

Part time: 7.5 hours per week, term-time only.

Paid weeks per year: 42.8 (inclusive of holiday entitlement)

Fixed term: Fixed Term to 31 August 2027

Start date: As soon as possible

About the Role

You will need to:

  • Supervise our children during lunchtimes, both in the playground and in the lunch hall
  • Have a kind, firm and fair approach with children from Reception to Year 6
  • Be able to support the children to engage in play and to help them sort out any challenges that arise.
  • Be prepared to go outside in most weathers or supervise play in the classrooms if the weather is really bad
