Our client is a well-established specialist commercial interiors contractor with over 40 years of industry experience. They have built an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality drylining, suspended ceilings, partitions, SFS, plastering and complete interior fit-out packages for Tier 1 main contractors across East Anglia, London and the South East.
Working across Cat A, Cat A+ and Cat B fit-out projects, they deliver schemes within the commercial office, healthcare, education, leisure and other sectors.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong background in commercial drylining to oversee multiple projects from pre-start through to completion.
The Role:
Reporting to the senior management team, you will be responsible for managing several commercial drylining and interior fit-out projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing multiple commercial drylining and interior fit-out projects.
- Planning programmes and coordinating labour, materials and subcontractors.
- Attending site progress meetings with clients and main contractors.
- Managing site teams, supervisors and subcontractors.
- Monitoring project costs and commercial performance.
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely and in line with current legislation.
- Maintaining excellent client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identifying and resolving site issues quickly and efficiently.
- Carrying out regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Supporting successful project delivery from contract award through to final account.
About You:
To be considered, you should have:
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the commercial drylining sector.
- Strong knowledge of drylining systems, partitions, suspended ceilings and associated interior packages.
- Experience managing projects for Tier 1 main contractors.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage multiple live projects simultaneously.
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications ().
- Full UK driving licence.
