Telecare Response Officer – 24/7 Emergency Support (12m FTC)

Swindon Borough Council is recruiting four Homeline Response Officers on a fixed-term basis to deliver a 24-hour emergency call service. You will assist elderly and disabled service users with welfare checks and urgent care, using telecare equipment, in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, strong communication, empathy, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Applicants should have experience in care or telecare and be fluent in English.
