We are recruiting Casual Domestic Assistants to provide cover for annual leave, sickness and busy periods within our 60-bed residential care home, delivering both Intermediate Care (Rehabilitation) and Dementia Care services.

Our Domestic Team plays a vital role in supporting the wellbeing, comfort and safety of our residents by ensuring the home remains clean, hygienic and welcoming.
The Role
As a Casual Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Cleaning resident bedrooms, communal areas, bathrooms and offices to a high standard
- Following cleaning schedules and infection prevention procedures
- Using cleaning products and equipment safely and in line with guidance
- Supporting a pleasant and welcoming environment for residents and visitors
- Reporting maintenance concerns, hazards or incidents appropriately
- Working as part of a friendly and supportive team

About You
You will have:
- A positive and reliable approach to work
- Good standards of cleanliness and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- An understanding of the importance of confidentiality, dignity and respect
- Knowledge of health and safety and infection prevention practices (or a willingness to learn)
Qualifications
No formal qualifications are essential.
However, previous cleaning experience in a care, healthcare, hotel, catering or domestic environment would be advantageous.
Equivalent knowledge and skills gained through relevant experience will be considered.

- Complete a pre-employment health questionnaire
- Undertake an Enhanced DBS check
