Hays Education is looking for caring, reliable and adaptable Supply SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a range of SEN schools, specialist provisions and colleges throughout Coventry.
Whether you’re seeking full-time work or flexible supply opportunities, we can offer placements that fit around your availability while allowing you to make a real difference to pupils who need additional support.
Your Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs
- Working alongside teaching staff to deliver tailored support
- Assisting with learning, communication and daily routines
- Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Encouraging engagement, confidence and independence
What you’ll need to succeed
- Experience working with children or young people
- SEN experience including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, SLCN, MLD, SLD or PMLD is desirable
- A patient, resilient and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
