Salary: 50,000 to 65,000 p.a. depending on experience

Location: Southend-on-Sea

Hours: 37 hrs/wk (Monday to Thursday, Fridays off!)

An established Aerospace Precision Engineering manufacturer seeks an experienced Quality Manager to lead their Quality & Inspection department with full operational autonomy and leadership responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the AS9100 QMS
• Lead and mentor the Inspection team
• Create/approve FAIR/LAIR documentation using VisualFAIR
• Conduct internal/external AS9100 audits
• Act as Approved Signatory for product release
• Oversee calibration and qualification processes
• Drive zero-defect/continuous improvement initiatives and serve as primary contact for customer quality matters.

Requirements:

• Proven aerospace sector experience (essential)
• Strong working knowledge of AS9100/ISO9100
• Hands-on FAIR/LAIR experience
• Proven leadership/supervisory background in inspection/quality
• Qualified auditor
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
