We have an exciting opportunity for a Reporting Analyst to join the Performance & Improvement team on a full time, permanent basis based in the Matchworks office, Liverpool.

HOURS OF WORK –Monday – Friday 37.5 Hours – Hybrid working

As a Reporting Analyst, you will deliver impactful reporting and visualisations using SQL and the Microsoft Power Platform, supporting business performance and continuous improvement. Working within the Performance and Improvement team, you will manage reporting projects end-to-end, ensuring data quality, efficiency, and business value.

What you will do:

  • Data Collection & Management: Gather, clean, and maintain large datasets from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Data Transformation: Create data processing scripts and workflows that transform raw data into usable formats.
  • Reporting & Visualisation: Create clear and informative reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate findings to stakeholders and assist in decision-making.
  • Data Automation
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data is accurate, up-to-date, and free from errors by conducting regular audits and troubleshooting data-related issues.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including wider GSS teams and business wide, understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to data collection, processing, and end product to increase efficiency and enhance data-driven strategies.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure adherence to data privacy regulations and best practices for data security and confidentiality.
  • Key Stakeholder Engagement: Keeping key stakeholders up to date with milestone developments and progression of project.
  • Deadlines: Sticking to deadlines and providing project feedback to the customer regularly
  • Updates – Giving accurate, meaningful and timely updates to management and stakeholders as well as providing next steps.

What you will bring:

  • Experience in a similar data role
  • Proficiency in Power Platform for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Proficiency with SQL (Structured Query Language) for querying databases.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools like Power BI.
  • Ability to clean and transform raw data into usable formats for analysis.
  • Ability to identify problems and use data to develop solutions.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and consistency is crucial.
