An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Knowledge Lawyer to join a successful and growing Commercial Litigation team on a part-time basis. Working closely with senior knowledge management professionals and fee-earners across multiple jurisdictions, you will play a key role in driving legal know-how, training, innovation, and best practice within the disputes practice.

Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development, planning, and delivery of the team’s training and education programme
  • Preparing training materials, sourcing external speakers, chairing sessions, and delivering training
  • Monitoring legal developments in commercial litigation and communicating updates through alerts, bulletins, and presentations
  • Reviewing, updating, and maintaining precedents, templates, and guidance materials
  • Encouraging and coordinating contributions to the firm’s knowledge management systems
  • Creating new know-how resources where gaps are identified
  • Providing guidance on legal and procedural issues and assisting with complex legal research
  • Supporting the assessment, testing, implementation, and adoption of legal technology and AI solutions
  • Working with risk and compliance teams to maintain relevant procedures and documentation
  • Acting as a key liaison between the litigation practice and wider business services functions
  • Contributing thought leadership and initiatives to enhance efficiency and knowledge sharing across the team

Profile

Applicants will ideally possess:

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
  • Minimum 5 years’ PQE gained in international commercial litigation
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Experience in insolvency, fraud, white-collar crime, data protection or related specialist areas would be advantageous
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and project management abilities
  • Strong legal research skills and familiarity with key legal resources and reporting tools
  • A genuine interest in legal knowledge management, training, and professional development
  • Interest in legal technology, AI developments, and innovation within legal services
  • The ability to build strong relationships across teams, seniority levels, and jurisdictions
  • A proactive, collaborative, and self-motivated approach
