We are looking for a committedand inclusive Assistant Head of Year to join our team and establish positive relationships withstudents, parents, staff and external agencies in line with the school’s visionand values.

About the role:

The AssistantHead of Year establishes positive relationships with students, parents, staff andexternal agencies in line with the school’s vision and values. Supporting the Head of Year, this role includes leading andimplementing high quality pastoral and safeguarding support, ensuring highattendance, identifying behavioral issues and finding strategies to intervene.

The ideal candidatewill be educated to degree level or equivalent and hold literacy and numeracyto GCSE C/4+ or equivalent. To succeed, youwill have previous experience of working in a secondary school setting,experience of working with children and families and be able to communicatewith a wide range of professionals.
