Job Description:

To uphold a high quality FIRST Occupational Therapy, (OT), clinical service. Oversee the competency of the workforce and service user experience through clinical and case management and monitoring of quality outcomes though audit, data reporting, and quality improvement projects.

The Clinical Specialist will form part of the management team and ensure that the Occupational Therapy clinical service is represented in all aspects of service delivery. The post holder will monitor and manage the interface and in‑reach with transition cases and the community clinical service, supporting safe, effective and high‑quality pathways of care. They will contribute to quality assurance by reviewing clinical outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring occupational therapy practice is aligned with professional standards, service specifications and the needs of service users.
