As a result, commuting by car or other private transport is likely to be the most practical and reliable option for reaching the site.
The role involves delivering and coordinating patient-centred nursing care within an agreed framework, including assessing, planning, and reviewing care in partnership with patients and their families. The post holder will monitor patient progress, respond to changes in condition, and manage feedback or concerns effectively. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, they will prioritise and delegate duties, take charge of shifts when required, and contribute to maintaining a safe environment, while continuing their professional development in line with revalidation requirements.
You will join the team on the Female Acute Ward. In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.
EssentialHold current professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), along with Mental Health
DesirableA background in mental health, particularly within an acute ward setting, would be highly desirable for this role.
