Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA’s disability benefits process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting in-person disability assessments for Veterans.
• Reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Accurately documenting exam findings and completing VA forms.
• Providing medical opinions based on assessment findings.

This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication.

Requirements And Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license.
• Comfort with technology for record review and documentation.
• Strong analytical, time management, and communication skills.
• Professional, compassionate demeanor with Veterans.
• Male practitioners preferred to meet VA privacy and gender-specific protocols.

Key Duties

• Performing focused assessments for 3-5 Veterans per day.
• Using provided equipment for documentation.
• Adhering to privacy and sensitive examination protocols.
