Job Description:

The Into Work Advice Service provides support to people who are actively seeking employment or looking to upskill; the team is able to offer support and intensive mentoring through externally funded project sand volunteering opportunities.

The Into Work Advice Service manages a number of externally funded employability projects, which is supported by the work of the Quality Team through audits, monitoring and evaluation of each of the programmes.

About the job

The Administration Officer will support the Programme Manager for the Connect to Work project across the South East Wales Region. They will be the first point of contact for the for the Accountable Body. The post holder will be responsible for administrative support, managing documentation, coordinating meetings, taking minutes, maintaining records, and assisting with procurement and reporting.

What We Are Looking For From You

You will bring experience of administration and record keeping.

Working knowledge of auditing and quality checking.

You will have experience of working with unemployed job seekers and people looking to upskill from their current job.

The role requires experience of multi-agency partnership working.

You will have knowledge of externally funded projects.

You will have experience of developing and maintaining recording mechanisms.

You will have experience of new technology including word processing systems, use of spreadsheets and other relevant I.T systems.

Additional information

This post is temporary until 31/03/2030.

The post will be required to work from a number of different locations, including Central Library Hub and other community Hub buildings across the South East Wales Region.

This vacancy is suitable for post share.
