Kitchen Assistant (Part-Time)
Stow-on-the-Wold | 13.50 – 14.00 per hour DOE | Temporary Contract
Are you looking for a part-time role where you can make a genuine difference while working as part of a friendly and supportive team?
We are currently seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join a busy retirement home in Stow-on-the-Wold on a temporary basis for approximately one month. Working alongside an experienced chef, you’ll help prepare and serve nutritious, home-cooked meals that are enjoyed by residents every day.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with catering or kitchen experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
Working Hours
- Friday: 4:00pm – 9:00pm
- Sunday: 11:00am – 4:00pm
Pay Rate
13.50 – 14.00 per hour, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the chef with food preparation
- Preparing ingredients and supporting meal service
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Washing up and ensuring kitchen equipment is kept clean
- Supporting the wider kitchen team as required
About You
- Previous kitchen, catering or food preparation experience is desirable
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and hygiene standards
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
