Your new company This is a well-established and growing manufacturing business with a reputation for delivering high-quality products and excellent customer service. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Temp to Perm Sales Support Administrator to join their friendly and supportive team. The role is currently based in Oldham and will relocate to Bredbury later this year, offering a fantastic opportunity to become part of an evolving business.

Your new role As a Sales Support Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business, acting as a central point of contact for customers, suppliers and internal teams. This is a varied position combining customer service, administration and operational support within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities will include:Managing incoming enquiries from customers and suppliers via telephone and emailProcessing customer orders and maintaining accurate records on internal systemsPreparing documentation to support production planning activitiesLiaising with production teams to monitor order progress and provide customer updatesWelcoming visitors and managing site attendance proceduresSupporting health and safety initiatives and promoting a safe working environmentProviding general administrative support to ensure smooth business operations

What you’ll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have previous administration and customer service experience, ideally gained within a manufacturing or production-led environment. You will be highly organised, confident in communicating with a range of stakeholders and comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

You will also have:

Strong administration and data management skillsExcellent customer service and relationship-building abilitiesPrevious experience working with customers, suppliers or production teamsGood knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and TeamsStrong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsThe ability to work independently and collaboratively within a teamAn understanding of sales and operational processesAccess to your own transport and the ability to travel to the Bredbury location following relocation
