Location: Bolton / Fully RemotePosition: Wills & Contentious Probate Locum SolicitorType: Locum – Long-Term ContractHours: Part-Time, 2-3 Days Per WeekFull-Time: Potentially AvailableRate: £45-£60 Per HourStart: Immediate CRA Consulting is pleased to be working with a well-established law firm in Bolton seeking an experienced Wills & Contentious Probate Locum Solicitor to join their team on a long-term basis. This is a flexible opportunity suited to an experienced private client lawyer looking for part-time locum work, with the option to work fully remotely. There may also be scope for the successful candidate to work full-time, depending on availability and preference.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload covering:
- Wills and estate planning
- Probate and estate administration
- Contentious probate matters
- Inheritance disputes
- Advising beneficiaries and executors
- Estate-related disputes and claims
- Taking instructions and advising clients
- Liaising with beneficiaries, executors and third parties
- Managing matters independently from instruction through to conclusion
The role offers flexibility around working arrangements and would suit a solicitor who is confident managing their own caseload remotely with minimal supervision.
What We’re Looking For
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Qualified Solicitor with strong Private Client experience
- Experience handling wills and probate matters
- Previous experience dealing with contentious probate matters
- Ability to manage a caseload independently
- Strong client care and communication skills
- Confidence working remotely
- Availability for an immediate start
- Commitment to a long-term locum assignment
