Senior Risk & Compliance Manager – Pay Equity / Compensation
Location: London (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
Contract: 5 months (potential for extension)
We’re partnering with a big tech client to hire a Senior Risk & Compliance Manager to lead critical pay equity and compensation compliance programmes across multiple regions.
This is a high-impact role sitting at the intersection of Total Rewards, Data Analytics, and Regulatory Compliance, working closely with senior stakeholders across HR, Legal, and Finance.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of global initiatives focused on pay transparency, equal pay compliance, and compensation governance, ensuring the organisation meets evolving regulatory requirements while driving data-led insights.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading pay equity and compliance programmes (e.g. gender pay gap, regulatory reporting)
- Partnering with Legal, HR, and leadership teams on risk and governance
- Delivering data analysis and insights on compensation trends and pay gaps
- Driving global projects aligned to new regulations (e.g. EU Pay Transparency Directive)
- Designing and improving processes, controls, and reporting frameworks
- Communicating findings to senior stakeholders, including executive-level audiences
What we’re looking for
Must-have experience:
- Strong background in pay equity, compensation, or Total Rewards compliance
- Experience in risk, audit, or regulatory programmes within HR or Rewards
- Proven track record managing global, cross-functional projects
- Advanced data analysis skills (Excel essential; SQL, Python, or R desirable)
- Ability to work with and influence senior stakeholders (HR, Legal, Finance)
Preferred:
- Experience with pay transparency legislation or regulatory reporting (e.g. EU Pay Transparency Directive)
- Exposure to process improvement or automation initiatives
- Project management certification (e.g. PMP)
- Experience working in international or multi-country environments
