Job Description - Sr. SAP Project Manager (Brownfield)

Location: UK (Remote) - possibility of some occasional need base travel (expenses paid)

UK based / Right to work in the UK (not offering sponsorship)

Start: Flexible (ideally, Mid of May or end of May)

Rate: Open at the moment (competitive as per UK market)

6 Months to start (extendable)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Project Manager to lead complex Brownfield S/4HANA transformation programs. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and deep expertise in managing system conversion projects within large enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of SAP S/4HANA Brownfield (System Conversion) projects
• Define project scope, timelines, resource planning, and governance structure
• Manage cross-functional teams including functional, technical, Basis, and integration workstreams
• Drive project execution using SAP Activate methodology
• Ensure adherence to quality, budget, and timeline commitments
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives
• Oversee data migration, testing strategy, cutover planning, and hypercare support
• Manage third-party vendors and system integrators

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP project management experience
• Proven experience delivering at least 2-3 SAP S/4HANA Brownfield implementations
• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC to S/4 conversion approaches and tools (SUM/DMO, Readiness Check, etc.)
• Experience with SAP Activate and Agile/Hybrid methodologies
• Excellent stakeholder communication and executive reporting skills
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with SAP Cloud ALM / Solution Manager
• Exposure to integrations, data governance, and security aspects
