Job Description
- Healthcare Assistant -
- Due to continued growth and increased demand for our services, Precedo Healthcare is recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants to provide dedicated one-to-one support to service users in the LS10 area of Leeds.
- This is a hands-on, relationship-led role where consistency, reliability, and attention to detail make a real difference to the individuals you support.
- What you’ll be doing
- Your shift will be focused on providing consistent, hands-on support to individuals in their own homes or care settings. You’ll help with personal care routines, ensuring each person starts and ends their day safely, comfortably, and with dignity.
- Throughout your shift, you’ll support daily living needs such as meal preparation, assisting with feeding where required, and encouraging participation in activities that support wellbeing and independence.
- You’ll monitor each individual’s condition closely, respond to any changes appropriately, and maintain clear, accurate records, including updates to care plans.
- You’ll also work closely with GPs, healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure care remains coordinated and responsive to each person’s needs.
- In some situations, you may need to use de-escalation and diversion techniques to help maintain a calm, safe, and supportive environment.

- What we’re looking for
- Minimum 6 months’ experience in a similar care role (within the last 2 years)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A calm, caring, and dependable approach
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred but not essential
