Whether its engineering, broadcast, legal, logistics, security, event management, commercial, media rights, marketing, or communications there is always a talented team working to maximise the potential of the sport.Role OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Broadcast Design Engineer to play a key role in the design, build and commissioning of world‑class broadcast engineering systems.You will take senior technical responsibility for complex broadcast infrastructure projects, ensuring systems are resilient, future‑proofed and meet demanding live broadcast requirements across both fixed facilities and live event environments.Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, you will contribute to the technical direction of broadcast engineering solutions and support the ongoing evolution of broadcast technology and standards.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead in the design, build and commissioning of broadcast engineering systems and future media engineering projectsDesign and upgrade broadcast infrastructure across permanent facilities and live event environmentsAct as a senior technical contributor within the Media Engineering team, working closely with other departmentsWork with external suppliers and systems integrators, ensuring designs are delivered to specification and quality standardsProduce detailed system schematics and drawings using AutoCADKeep up to date with emerging broadcast technologies and contribute ideas for future engineering solutionsPrepare detailed project costings and support delivery within approved budgetsProvide technical guidance and support to less experienced engineers, sharing best practice and knowledgeProduce reports and technical documentation as requiredOperate safely at all times in line with health and safety requirementsComplete mandatory training and undertake additional duties appropriate to the role as requiredWhat Are We Looking For?An experienced and technically confident broadcast engineer who enjoys working on complex systems, takes pride in high‑quality design, and thrives in a fast‑paced live broadcast environment.

You’ll be comfortable taking ownership of your work while supporting and influencing others through your expertise.ExperiencePrior to the role it would be essential that you:Have 5+ years’ experience in broadcast systems engineeringHave strong hands‑on experience designing and engineering broadcast infrastructure, including IP‑based systemsDemonstrate experience in systems design, integration and commissioningBe comfortable fault‑finding in live broadcast and production environmentsHave experience delivering work to tight deadlines and under pressureSome desirable experience that you may bring to the role:Previous experience in broadcast systems integrationExperience delivering medium to large‑scale broadcast design and build projectsExposure to HD, UHD, HDR, 3G and IP broadcast standardsExperience with major live events or sports broadcastingFamiliarity with cloud or hybrid media workflowsQualificationsBSc or equivalent qualification in Broadcast Television Engineering or a related discipline (desirable)Networking or broadcast‑related certifications (e.g.
