A principal contractor with sustained year on year profits are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

This opportunity will suit a commercially astute QS who enjoys working for stable small to medium principal contractors and delivering projects across all building sectors.

The Role

• Managing the commercial aspects of building projects within commercial, education, residential, retail and leisure up to £4m
• Cost planning, estimating, and tender analysis
• Working closely alongside the Commercial Manager and Director on budgets and forecasts
• Managing subcontract procurement and contract administration (JCT / NEC)
• Monitoring risks, opportunities, and overall project financial performance
• Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial team
