Role Summary
As Technical Production Manager, you will lead the planning and execution of the technical elements of live events, ensuring smooth delivery from concept through to completion.
Responsibilities
- Managing and nurturing relationships with clients across multiple projects
- Designing technical production approaches aligned with creative briefs
- Developing comprehensive technical specifications and kit lists
- Preparing risk assessments and method statements
- Coordinating with warehouse, logistics and on‑site operations teams
- Liaising with external suppliers and rental partners when needed
- Scheduling and managing freelance technical crews
- Overseeing on‑site installations and ensuring flawless live delivery
- Managing budgets and tracking production costs throughout the project
About You
You have a solid grounding in live event technical production, ideally gained within an AV supplier or creative production agency. You are comfortable working directly with clients, confident in creating technical documentation, and experienced in managing technical delivery in a variety of venue types—especially across London’s unique event spaces. You thrive on variety, love problem‑solving and want to grow within a fast‑moving, creative environment. You also have good experience and understanding of historic venues across London.
