Head of Data & Analytics (Birmingham)

Job Overview

I’m currently working with a client in the financial sector looking for a Head of Data & Analytics.

You will need to be a problem solver capable to build their entire data function from scratch, setting the strategy, architecture, governance including all reporting foundations needed to enable a fully data-driven environment.

Required skillset

• Strong experience in data-focused roles within financial services, investments, or pensions.
• Expertise in data governance, quality management, and regulatory requirements.
• Hands‑on proficiency with SQL, Python, and modern BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience implementing or managing enterprise data platforms.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leaders.

Location – Birmingham (3 days per week onsite requirement)
