About the role

As our Engagement Administrator, you’ll play a key part in bringing Imperial’s approach to Engagement to life and helping us deliver a great employee experience. You will support the smooth running of our engagement and recognition activities, from staff surveys to awards ceremonies, while helping colleagues feel informed, connected and valued. This is a varied, people‑centered role at the heart of the Employee Experience & Culture team, ideal for someone who enjoys organising, communicating and making things happen.

What you would be doing

In this role, you will: * Support the delivery of engagement, recognition and staff‑experience activities, including events, communications and digital content. * Coordinate key administrative processes such as inbox triage, diary support, budget updates, purchase orders and event logistics. * Help run Imperial’s formal recognition Programmes-managing invitations, RSVPs, guest lists and on‑the‑day support for ceremonies and celebrations. * Work closely with colleagues across HR, Communications, Events and other professional services to keep projects on track and information flowing smoothly. * Support the staff survey and follow‑up action planning to ensure feedback leads to meaningful improvements. * Keep our engagement and recognition webpages and communications up to date, clear and engaging.

We’re looking for someone who: * Enjoys working with people and building positive relationships across teams and levels. * Has excellent organisational skills and can manage multiple deadlines with accuracy and care. * Brings strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in creating clear, engaging content. * Is proactive, reliable and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities. * Has experience providing high‑quality administrative support and delivering great customer service. * Is confident using Microsoft Office and able to learn new systems quickly. * Brings an inclusive mindset and a genuine interest in staff experience, engagement and culture. Further information

This is a 0.8 FTE, Fixed Term Contract until July 2027 position based at White City with access to Imperial’s hybrid‑working approach and occasionally working at South Kensington Campus for Events.

You’ll be joining a collaborative, friendly and purpose‑driven team within the Talent & Culture function, working closely with colleagues who are passionate about creating a positive staff experience.
