DallasWylde Recruitment is partnering with a successful, privately owned housebuilder with a strong track record of delivering high-quality homes across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. Due to continued growth and a healthy appetite for new sites, they are looking to appoint an ambitious Land Buyer ready to step into a Land Manager role, or a Land Manager in the early stages of their career.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for identifying, assessing and progressing land opportunities across one of the UK’s most sought-after regions. Working closely with the Land Director, you’ll play a key role in sourcing new sites, building relationships and helping secure acquisitions.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Sourcing on- and off-market land opportunities
  • Building relationships with agents, landowners and promoters
  • Appraising land opportunities and preparing acquisition reports
  • Assisting with negotiations and progressing deals through to completion
  • Monitoring local plans and identifying strategic opportunitiesHelping grow and strengthen the land pipeline

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a land role with a housebuilder, developer or land promoter
  • Either a Land Buyer ready to step up or a Land Manager with 2–4 years’ experience
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of land appraisal
  • Knowledge of the planning system
  • Driven, proactive and keen to progress
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
