Job Description:

Join Barclays as an Analysis and Design Lead, where you’ll support the organization and achieve its strategic objectives by identifying business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience ensuring adherence to TADS standards at a programme level, with expert knowledge of Jira, Lean, Control Tool and Process.
  • Expertise in functional and non‑functional requirements definition, and experience leading others to deliver quality requirements.
  • Significant functional knowledge of Digital Channels and Payments, particularly in relation to Corporate Products and Services.

Other Highly Valued Skills

  • Effective backlog and roadmap management at programme level, using appropriate tools.
  • Experience administering a demand process and managing interlock and planning with requesting programmes.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to demanding timescales and deadlines.

Purpose of the Role

To support the organisation and achieve its strategic objectives by identifying business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.

Accountabilities

  • Identification and analysis of business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation.
  • Development of business requirements that address business problems and opportunities.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
  • Support creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.
  • Support creation of reports on project progress to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Creation of operational design and process design to ensure solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.
  • Support change management activities, including development of a traceability matrix to ensure successful implementation and embedding of solutions.
