Senior Fire Safety Engineer – Manchester – £70,000 + Bonus

We are looking for a Senior Fire Safety Engineer to join our team in Manchester. The role offers a collaborative and flexible working environment, with a strong focus on development, internal promotion and delivering high‑quality fire safety solutions across a range of sectors.

Salary Package

• Basic salary: £55,000 – £70,000 (flexible depending on experience)

Key Duties

• Leading projects and managing client relationships from initial concept through to completion
• Collaborating with directors, clients and design teams to deliver high‑quality fire safety solutions
• Applying fire safety principles and building regulations to ensure compliance with governing bodies’ codes
• Preparing engineering reports, calculations, and detailed fire safety drawings
• Managing project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standard
• Mentoring and supporting junior engineers, providing guidance and development opportunities

What You Will Need

• Previous experience in fire safety engineering, with significant exposure to managing projects
• Proven ability to lead and manage fire safety projects from inception to completion
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to approach complex challenges with practical solutions
• A solid understanding of fire safety regulations and the technical knowledge required for their application
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams
• A relevant university degree or equivalent qualification in fire safety engineering or a related field
