Finance Manager

London Stansted Airport tempus—Five days onsite initially moving to four days after probation

We are hiring a Finance Manager for an aviation business in Stansted.

This is a hands‑on, full‑cycle accounting role with broad responsibility across reporting, analysis, and compliance.

What you will do

• Own month‑end, balance sheet reconciliations, and journals
• Prepare and present management accounts
• Manage cash flow, aged debt, and AP approvals
• VAT returns, payroll journals, P11Ds
• Own audit and statutory accounts requests
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Review profitability by project and customer
• Provide commercial insight to leadership
• Line‑manage on‑site finance staff

What we are looking for

• Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
• Experience in an all‑round Finance Manager role
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Practice background preferred
• Strong Excel and finance systems experience (Sage Line 50 ideal)
• Able to work independently with high attention to detail
• Aviation experience helpful but not required
