The Banking & Markets practice is looking for an experienced Consultant to join the team, delivering sustainable strategies across corporate, retail and private and investment banking.
Responsibilities
- Shaping and delivering large scale technology and digital transformation programmes, supporting clients on their transformation journeys.
- Maximising business value through the definition and delivery of digital, technology and data projects; leading teams and adapting to hybrid delivery models (e.g., waterfall and agile).
- Developing the firm’s thinking through industry horizon scanning and research and helping to grow the Banking & Markets practice.
- Supporting clients and the growth of the Banking & Markets sector.
Qualifications
- Experience in the digital and technology functions of Banking and Markets organisations, with demonstrable experience of developing and executing bank-wide digital strategies, and an understanding of technologies and the wider market digital ecosystem.
- Experience across one or more of the following domain areas: Retail, Commercial and Corporate banking product knowledge (propositions, channels, operations, and technologies), and/or Capital Markets product knowledge (across asset classes, trade lifecycle and booking systems/models).
- Proven track record in areas such as:
- Defining and shaping CIO operating models.
- Shaping technology strategies or building enterprise architecture capabilities, including solution architecture, system design, and cloud/infrastructure integration.
- Extensive involvement across the complete technology delivery lifecycle, in senior delivery management, architecture, or design roles.
- Delivering technology programs with integration of third-party products or cloud technologies (e.g., AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Delivering complex technology solutions using hybrid delivery models, particularly Agile, while adapting Agile practices for traditional Waterfall environments.
- Process optimisation through digital, technology or data solutions.
- Conducting regulatory impact assessments for data and technology functions and addressing challenges from evolving regulatory landscape, including third-party risk management.
