This role will support the Deputy Divisional Head of Workforce and the Divisional Head of Workforce – Co‑ordinator, providing a high‑quality HR service to the Division / Directorate and assisting with the effective resourcing, management and development of the workforce to support operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate as an expert practitioner, offering advice on all HR matters, especially employment law and good practice.
- Serve as the main point of contact for employment‑related queries within the Directorate.
- Identify opportunities for HR to add value, particularly around significant performance improvements or change‑management activities.
- Coach and develop line managers in people‑management duties, including case management, disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management. xwzovoh
- Build relationships internally and externally, focusing on collaborative partnerships with Trade Unions.
