CRA Consulting are delighted to once again be working with a highly regarded commercial law firm seeking a talented Real Estate Solicitor to join its growing Leeds office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward‑thinking team with a strong reputation across a wide range of sectors, including energy, retail, leisure, transport, and logistics.
The Opportunity
You’ll join a well‑established real estate team acting for a diverse client base, including developers, investors, lenders, and public and third‑sector organisations. The work is varied, often complex, and frequently sits within regulated environments. This role offers genuine scope to broaden your experience and take on increasing responsibility. You’ll support senior lawyers while also managing your own caseload and building strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting on a wide range of commercial property matters
- Drafting and negotiating leases, licences to assign and underlet
- Handling acquisitions and disposals
- Preparing reports on title
- Supporting on property finance and development transactions
- Collaborating with other teams such as Corporate and Restructuring
- Contributing to business development initiatives
About You
You’ll be a qualified solicitor with 3‑6 years’ PQE and solid experience in real estate work. You’ll ideally have exposure to more complex matters such as:
- Asset management work
- Agreements for lease, leases, and surrenders
- Commercial and residential development
- Investment transactions (including acting for landlords)
You should be able to clearly demonstrate your contribution to successful transactions and be keen to continue developing your career within a commercial, team‑oriented environment.
