Housekeeping Club is a well-established local cleaning company providing high-quality services across Cumbria and North Lancashire. We are looking for a reliable Cleaner / Janitor to join our team in Kendal.
Schedule & Details
- Hours: 15 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:45am – 3:00pm (term time only)
- Salary: £13.50/hr (pro rata)
- Contract: Permanent
- Start date: As soon as possible
The Role & Responsibilities
- Ensuring the cleanliness and sanitisation of a local school
- Cleaning classrooms, toilets and shared areas to a high standard
- Hoovering, mopping, dusting and sanitising surfaces
- Disposing of rubbish and recyclables
- Following cleaning schedules, checklists and safety protocols
- Monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies and consumables
- Working both independently and with team members to maintain efficient operations
- Taking responsibility for maintaining consistently high standards
- This is an active role where you’ll be on your feet throughout your shift.
Requirements
- Experience working in an organised and methodical way
- Previous cleaning experience (desirable)
- Awareness of cleaning products and safe handling procedures (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Right to work in the UK
