Role Overview
At Nationwide, a Customer Representative role involves best supporting our customers with great services across all our channels – from transactions on the till and allocating time to handle inbound calls to supporting product applications through digital sales. You’ll provide first‑class service in person, via phone and online, and you’ll be trained thoroughly to do so.
This is a permanent position working full time – 35 hours per week, Monday to Saturday – in the Egham, Surrey branch. The branch is multi‑skilled and closed to the public every Tuesday; on those days you’ll primarily support customers over the phone on our savings line and provide banking support.
To qualify, you must be within a 45‑minute commute of the branch. You should be comfortable using digital tools and applications.

Qualifications and Expectations
You should be a reliable, customer‑first professional who can be empathic in shoes of customers, communicate straight and honestly, push for better, and get it done. Demonstrating these behaviours and any prior experience in customer service or banking is valued.
Training
Training will be provided virtually at the branch. The first three weeks are crucial, and no holiday is taken during that period. The pathway is designed to ensure success in this role.
