Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong clinical leadership to the nursing team, ensuring high standards of care at all times
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and clinical governance processes
- Support, mentor, and develop nursing staff to reach their full potential
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external professionals
- Drive a positive, inclusive, and recovery-focused culture within the service
- Contribute to audits, quality improvement initiatives, and service development
Requirements
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC pin
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong clinical knowledge within mental health services (18–65)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care
