QC Analyst

Overview

QC Analyst required initially on a temporary basis, based in West Yorkshire. Requiring a degree in Chemistry (or similar). Recent Chemistry graduates are encouraged to apply, as well as candidates holding recent, proven industrial experience. The role will predominantly involve supporting testing of product batches, in‑process samples and raw materials.

Role / Description

• Carry out final testing on production batches
• Enter test data in SAP, maintain inspection lots, assign usage decisions and flag any out‑of‑spec batches
• Compare test data to control limits to identify out‑of‑trend batches
• Evaluate customer complaints, carry out any investigative lab work as required
• Carry out shelf life extension requests
• Provide testing PT/Quality support to evaluate plant issues/potentially IQ batches
• Conduct testing and support ongoing PT projects
• Ensure testing equipment is in good condition and product calibrations are up to date
• Maintain the lab to 5S standards

Requirements

• A degree in Chemistry (or similar)
• Recent Chemistry graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong and evidenced problem‑solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to efficiently plan, organise, and manage own workload
