Job Title: IFS PSO Solution Architect – Click to IFS FSM Cloud Migration
Location: London, UK (Hybrid)
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced IFS Planning and Scheduling Optimization (PSO) Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of a critical migration from ClickSoftware (Click FSE) to IFS FSM Cloud.
This is a hands‑on architecture role focused on field service scheduling, dispatch optimization, and workforce planning, ensuring a seamless transition to IFS while improving operational efficiency and service performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the IFS PSO workstream for a large‑scale Click to IFS FSM Cloud migration
- Analyze existing ClickSoftware scheduling configurations, rules, and workflows
- Design and implement IFS PSO solutions aligned to business requirements
- Configure optimization rules, constraints, and scheduling policies within IFS PSO
- Drive resource planning, routing, dispatch, and real‑time scheduling optimization
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate operational processes into PSO capabilities
- Oversee data migration, including workforce, work orders, calendars, and constraints
- Define and support integration architecture between IFS FSM and upstream/downstream systems
- Lead solution validation, UAT, and performance tuning of scheduling algorithms
- Provide guidance on IFS best practices and continuous optimization strategies
- Support cutover, hypercare, and post‑go‑live stabilization
Required Experience
- Proven experience as an IFS PSO Consultant / Architect
- Hands‑on delivery of at least one IFS PSO implementation or migration
- Strong experience with ClickSoftware (Click FSE) and migration to IFS FSM
- Deep understanding of:
- Scheduling algorithms
- Resource optimization
- Dispatch and routing logic
- Experience configuring:
- Workforce calendars & constraints
- Service‑level objectives (SLAs)
- Strong background in Field Service Management (FSM) platforms
- Experience working on large‑scale transformation or migration programs
Technical Skills
- ClickSoftware (Click FSE) architecture and data model
- Integration technologies (REST APIs, middleware, event‑based systems)
- Data migration and transformation strategies
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS)
