System Analyst

Overview

This is a key role supporting European spare parts operations, focused on improving the quality, accuracy and usability of data across ERP systems and EDI networks.

You’ll sit at the centre of operations, identifying where things go wrong, fixing root causes, and building smarter processes and automation to improve performance at scale.

What you’ll be doing

• Own data integrity across ERP systems – ensuring alignment, accuracy and consistency
• Monitor ERP/EDI transactions, identifying and resolving errors before they impact operations
• Analyse trends in data issues and implement fixes to prevent repeat problems
• Build automated controls and processes to reduce manual intervention
• Develop and maintain reporting (Excel / Power BI) to support operational and management decision-making
• Partner with teams across logistics, planning and operations to improve data-driven processes
• Contribute to continuous improvement and global projects

What we’re looking for

• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, BaaN or similar)
• Strong Excel skills (essential) + confidence working with data sets
• Ability to write SQL queries and understand relational databases
• Experience with reporting tools (Power BI or similar)
• Comfortable spotting patterns, solving problems and improving processes
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise effectively

Nice to have

• EDI knowledge
• Supply chain / logistics experience
