We have an amazing permanent position available for an Electrical Project Engineer with a world leading Formula 1 business, based in Brixworth, Northamptonshire.
As a key member of the team you will design and develop F1 test cell facilities, manufacturing facilities and building services infrastructure. You will technically own, monitor and manage the electrical distribution network and electrical infrastructure, ensuring safe and compliant delivery of O&M, safety and statutory documentation. You will support the Electrical Duty Holder with a safe system of work, assist with ISO 50001 compliance, deliver energy‑saving projects and manage planned preventive and reactive maintenance for all HV/LV switchgear, transformers and fixed wire testing. You will develop HV AP (High Voltage Authorised Person) status and be responsible for building services high‑voltage infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- HNC, HND, bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Controls Engineering.
- 18th Edition IET qualification certificate or equivalent.
- HV AP Certificate (less than five years from issue) or working towards it.
- Experience working with AutoCAD 2D.
- Knowledge of Schneider, MEM, ABB and EATON electrical distribution systems, Schneider SEPAM, ION and other Schneider meters, Siemens Desigo CC, Schneider Accusine systems is an advantage.
- Experience in HV/LV switchgear maintenance and energy‑management standards.
