IT Infrastructure Engineer – Financial Services

Who We’re Looking For

A proactive IT Infrastructure Engineer with experience supporting SimCorp Dimension in mission‑critical financial environments. If you thrive on solving complex problems, optimising infrastructure, and keeping investment systems running 24/7, this role is for you!

What You’ll Do

• Design & Maintain Infrastructure: Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, VMware/Hyper‑V, storage systems, cloud integrations.
• Support SimCorp Dimension: Implement, upgrade, and maintain DEV/UAT/PROD environments. Troubleshoot performance, manage batch processing, and follow vendor best practices.
• SQL Server Administration: Backups, restores, indexing, performance tuning, high‑availability setups. Monitor system health and storage growth.
• Operational Excellence: Incident management, root cause analysis, documentation, and automation.
• On‑Call Support: Occasional out‑of‑hours support as part of the team rotation.

What You’ll Need

• SimCorp Dimension experience (DEV/UAT/PROD).
• Strong Windows Server and virtualization skills (VMware/Hyper‑V).
• SQL Server administration, including high‑availability configurations.
• Experience in financial services infrastructure.
• ITIL knowledge, analytical mindset, and ownership‑driven attitude.
• Bonus: Azure/AWS, PowerShell/automation, monitoring tools (SCOM/SolarWinds).
