Contract: 32 weeks per year | Full-time or Part-time considered

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Teacher to join our supportive and collaborative team at an independent special school in Crowthorne, Berkshire. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the education and development of young people with a range of moderate learning difficulties.
You will play a key role in delivering targeted support, helping students build confidence, independence, and essential academic skills in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored 1:1 and small group interventions in literacy, numeracy, and study skills
- Conduct assessments and develop personalised learning support strategies
- Work closely with classroom teachers to support differentiation and inclusive practice
- Monitor student progress and adapt approaches to ensure positive learning outcomes
- Contribute to a collaborative Learning Support team, sharing insights and best practice
About You
- Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a Level 7 SENDCo qualification (or similar)
- Have experience supporting students with dyslexia and dyscalculia
- Are confident in assessing needs and delivering targeted interventions
- Value a nurturing, student-centred approach
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
