Senior Sales & Account Manager – Womenswear

A highly successful and financially stable womenswear supplier — recognised for delivering to some of the UK’s most prominent high street retailers and supermarkets — is entering another phase of sustained growth.
Following a year of outstanding performance across key accounts, the business is now looking to appoint a commercially driven Senior Sales & Account Manager to help accelerate momentum, strengthen existing partnerships, and unlock new opportunities.
The Opportunity
This role sits at the heart of the business, combining account leadership, product direction, and commercial strategy. You will take ownership of key retail relationships while working closely with internal design, technical, and production teams to bring trend-led, commercially successful ranges to market.
Covering both woven and jersey (soft separates), you’ll oversee multiple product categories — from dresses and blouses to trousers, skirts, and soft tailoring — ensuring collections are both fashion-forward and profitable.
Alongside managing existing business, you will also play a key role in expanding the company’s retail footprint, using your industry network and market knowledge to introduce new customers over time.
What You’ll Be Doing
Driving Account Performance
- Take full ownership of selected key accounts, focusing on growth, retention, and long-term value
- Build strong, trusted relationships with buyers through regular engagement and collaboration
- Identify opportunities to increase sales through product development, category expansion, and reactive trading
- Use customer data, trade feedback, and market insight to influence product direction and maximise sell-through
Product & Range Development
- Work in partnership with design and technical teams to create commercially relevant, trend-led collections
- Guide product strategy across multiple categories, ensuring alignment with customer needs and price architecture
- Support the development of fast-turn, in-season opportunities
New Business Growth
- Leverage your network to open doors with new retailers and introduce the business to new buying teams
- Lead pitches and presentations, showcasing product, capability, and value proposition
- Build new relationships with a long-term, strategic approach to account acquisition
Commercial & Operational Oversight
- Maintain strong awareness of costings, margins, and pricing structures
- Review and approve costings and invoices in collaboration with internal teams
- Ensure smooth communication between customers and internal departments to keep developments on track
