Senior Finance Business Partner / Head of Finance — Biggin Hill (4 days on-site, 1 day from home) £80,000-£85,000 + bonus + benefits
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Finance Business Partner to take a key leadership role within a fast-growing, high-performing organisation in Biggin Hill. This position acts as the senior finance lead on site, partnering closely with operational leadership, shaping financial strategy, and guiding a dedicated finance team.
This is far more than a traditional FBP role – it requires a confident, influential finance leader who can build strong relationships, challenge constructively, and set the tone for financial governance across the operation. For the right person, there is clear progression into a broader Head of Finance remit.
What you’ll be doing
- Acting as the senior finance voice on site, partnering with the General Manager and leadership team
- Leading, coaching and developing a team of four, creating a high-performance culture
- Presenting financial performance, KPIs and insights to senior stakeholders
- Driving budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning
- Providing proactive and reactive financial analysis to support operational decision-making
- Building strong cross-functional relationships across finance, operations and commercial teams
- Overseeing governance, controls and financial reporting processes
- Supporting audits, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives
What we’re looking for
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong business partnering experience with senior stakeholders
- Proven leadership capability – able to inspire, guide and develop a team
- Confident presenter with the gravitas to influence at all levels
- Proactive, commercially minded and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent relationship-builder with strong communication skills
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering or aviation is beneficial but not essential
