Sous Chef – Canary Wharf
We’re looking for a skilled Sous Chef to join a busy kitchen in Canary Wharf, serving Turkish and Levantine cuisine with strong Mediterranean influences.
Work under a great Head Chef and be part of a tight, ambitious team.
The role
- Work closely with the Head Chef on menu development
- Run your sections confidently across the kitchen
- Train and develop junior chefs
- Manage ordering, stock, and kitchen standards
- Maintain high HACCP and health & safety standards
You’ll be hands-on, contributing ideas, and helping shape the kitchen.
What you’ll be cooking
- Turkish and Levantine dishes with bold Mediterranean flavours
- Grill-focused dishes
- Small, evolving menu with room to contribute on breads and desserts
The setup
- 10 chefs in the brigade
- 20–40 covers at lunch, up to 80 at dinner
- Brand-new kitchen
What we need
- Strong all-rounder across sections
- Experience in a premium kitchen
- Confident on the grill
- Comfortable contributing ideas and working closely with the Head Chef
Package & Hours
- 45 hours per week, 5 shifts
- 29 days holiday
- Chef uniform provided
- Immediate start preferred, but we’re happy to wait for the right notice period
