Software Engineer

Overview

We’re building Folio AI — the next generation commerce engine for millions of businesses.

This is a core engineering role. Your first mission: own our mobile apps. But this isn’t a siloed mobile role — you’ll work across the stack, from mobile clients to backend systems and APIs, wherever the hardest problems are.

We’re a small team, so boundaries between roles are thin. What matters is that you can go deep on hard technical problems and ship production systems that work.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve our mobile apps — iOS and Android
• Work across backend systems, APIs, and infrastructure as the product evolves
• Design systems that are reliable, fast, and ready to scale
• Work closely with the team to evolve the product architecture

Qualifications

• Is a strong engineer first — can think in systems and reason about architecture
• Has solid mobile development experience across iOS and Android
• Swift experience is a plus — our iOS app is already in production
• Has shipped real products, ideally across mobile and backend
• Has adopted AI into their workflow — and actually enjoys it
• You won’t just be a “mobile developer.”
• You’ll be an engineer on a small team where what you build defines the product.
