Senior Financial Inclusion Advisor
Location: Teddington with flexibilitySalary: £38,496 per annum
Who we’re looking for
10 MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT
As part of the Rents team your role you will be; benefits advisor, team leader, problem-solver, and data-driven coordinator. Providing customer support, benefits expertise, and team leadership skills, you’ll be helping customers navigate the application process for claiming benefits (especially Universal Credit), and making sure customers can afford rent payments to sustain tenancies by providing customers with guidance on maximising household incomes giving a seamless customer experience.
Managing a small team, you’ll ensure the smooth running of the rent admin service and work closely with stakeholders such as Citizens Advice, Local Authorities, Department for Work and Pensions, support agencies and other social housing providers.
Keeping up to date with current legislation, you’ll keep the organisation and customers aware of any changes, by taking the lead on financial inclusion campaigns and attend meetings as required.
You’ll conduct performance reviews and set standards, objectives and targets, whilst having regular development and wellbeing conversations in line with RHP values and behaviours.
If you’re someone with experience of, working in an administrative or customer service role and a sound knowledge of benefits available to customers on low incomes.
Using CRM (or equivalent), digital systems and data to drive service improvements.
Using wise judgment and decision-making to resolve queries quickly and effectively without overcomplicating things. Negotiation and problem solving.
It’d blow us away if you had experience of, early arrears performance management and using data to understand performance trends.
