Procurement Coordinator (PR/007197)

With a strong reputation built over several decades, the business delivers tailored solutions across a diverse client base and continues to experience sustained growth.
As part of this expansion, there is an opportunity for a Procurement Coordinator to join a collaborative and fast-paced team. This role will play a key part in supporting procurement operations, ensuring supply chain compliance, and contributing to effective service delivery across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for subcontractors and suppliers, including insurances, accreditations, RAMS, and agreed rates
- Manage the procurement inbox and respond to internal and external queries
- Coordinate supplier onboarding processes, including PQQ administration
- Provide administrative support in the preparation of framework agreements and statements of work
- Assist with the management and renewal of rebate agreements
- Support supply chain engagement and maintain strong relationships with key partners
- Deliver onboarding demonstrations for supplier systems and portals
- Assist in the review and assessment of supplier terms and conditions
- Review technical specifications and scopes of work to ensure alignment with operational and compliance requirements
- Support the coordination of subcontractor contracts, including supplier evaluations, cost reviews, and documentation
- Assist with contract mobilisation activities
- Provide support on internal procurement initiatives
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to internal governance and relevant legislation
- Maintain awareness of statutory compliance requirements (e.g. gas, electrical, fire safety, water hygiene) and ensure supplier adherence
Requirements
- Previous experience within a procurement or supply chain function
- Experience within facilities management, engineering, or construction environments is advantageous
- Working towards or holding a CIPS qualification is desirable
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Commercially aware, with an understanding of market dynamics
- Confident in supporting negotiations with suppliers on cost and contractual terms
- Good understanding of operational delivery and service environments
- Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Strong organisational and administrative capabilities
- Effective communicator with the ability to build relationships across stakeholders
- Proactive problem-solver with the ability to use initiative
- General understanding of engineering principles within a maintenance or FM context is beneficial
