We’re looking for a passionate Android Developer to join our eCommerce technology team, helping to create seamless, accessible, and high-performing mobile experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to influence architectural foundations, build elegant user interfaces, and deliver innovative solutions that delight our users every day

The Role

• Establish strong architectural foundations: Leverage your experience to define and implement best practices for building performant, scalable Android apps.
• Design and deliver innovative features: Build white-label mobile applications that combine rich functionality with inclusive, accessible design.
• Create adaptive, beautiful UIs: Develop intuitive and responsive phone and tablet interfaces using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose that scale flawlessly across devices.
• Collaborate and mentor: Partner closely with Product Owners, UX Designers, and other stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver impactful solutions. Support and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.

What you will bring

• You’re a motivated and creative developer who enjoys solving complex challenges and pushing the boundaries of Android development
• Strong experience developing Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, with deep knowledge of the Android ecosystem.
• Skilled in troubleshooting, optimising performance, and resolving technical issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience conducting code reviews and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Proficiency in implementing unit testing and UI testing frameworks to ensure reliability and stability.
• Proven experience working within Agile / Scrum environments.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using Git and Azure DevOps.
