Their R&D Process Control team plays a vital role in developing and rolling out advanced inspection and process control systems across international operations, forming a key part of their digitalisation and automation strategy.
The Role
- Developing and enhancing process control systems from concept to implementation
- PLC programming, SCADA development, and advanced control techniques (including AI/ML)
- Delivering instrumentation and inspection solutions to support global operations
- Providing technical support, system upgrades, and occasional overseas travel
The Person
- Experience in industrial process control and PLC/SCADA systems
- Engineering Degree (2:1 or above preferred)
- Logical problem solver with strong communication skills
- Commutable to Lathom and full right to work in the UK
