About the Job
This role will act as a key finance partner to stakeholders across the business, supporting performance, reporting and decision-making. The position will play an important role in financial control, planning and analysis, while also driving improvements in processes and reporting.
Duties will include:
- Acting as a key finance partner to senior stakeholders, providing insight to support business performance and decision-making
- Supporting the development of budgets, forecasts and longer-term financial plans
- Leading month-end and year-end close processes, including analysis of key variances
- Delivering financial and operational performance reporting across the business
- Providing analysis to support revenue growth, cost management and profitability improvement
- Partnering with non-finance teams to support commercial decision-making and strategic initiatives
- Monitoring financial performance against targets and highlighting risks and opportunities
- Ensuring appropriate financial controls and governance are maintained
- Reviewing and supporting investment cases and business proposals
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reporting and financial efficiency
- Supporting balance sheet management and reconciliation activities

The ideal candidate will be a commercially focused finance professional with strong analytical capability and experience within FMCG or a related sector. You will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong systems knowledge and the ability to interpret complex financial data. Strong communication and influencing skills are essential, alongside the ability to remain organised, proactive and effective in a fast-paced environment.
